Explore the Room on the Broom trail at the Forest of Dean

This Easter weekend sees the launch of a magical Room on the Broom trail at the Dean Heritage Centre.

Inspired by the wonderful picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, visitors can wander through the forest, discovering beautiful wooden carvings of Witch, Cat and friends along the way. Watch out for the fire-breathing Dragon though!

As well as the woodland trail, there will be a host of activities to celebrate the launch, including film screenings and a “Witch and Chips” menu at the onsite café.

On Monday 21st April, Daryl Shute from Magic Light Pictures, producers of Room on the Broom and The Gruffalo, will also be giving a talk on how the story was taken from book to film.

The trail will run until March 2015. Click here for more information.
