Happy Halloweden
Stuck for what to do this half term? Head down to the Eden Project for some Room on the Broom inspired fun.
This Halloween half term, from October 26 until November 3, the Eden Project will be inviting people into the world of Room on the Broom and conjuring a cauldron full tricks and treats for older children too.
Visitors can immerse themselves in Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s magical story in the Room on the Broom tent, where they can make wonderful wands, create headdresses inspired by their favourite characters and help make their very own mud monsters.
The Little Monsters’ Ball also returns for fancy-dress fun on October 30 and 31 with the site staying open until 9pm. Witches, wizards and mini-monsters are invited to explore the haunted Biomes, sample some creepy cuisine and dance the night away in the Mediterranean Biome’s Olive Grooveyard.
Tickets to the Little Monsters’ Ball cost £7 per person and face painting costs £3. All other Halloweden activities are included in the price of entry. For more information, go to: www.edenproject.com/halloweden
