RTS Awards – Room on the Broom keeps flying!

With the DVD release on the same day we didn’t think Monday 18th March could get any better, but we were wrong.

Room on the Broom won the Children’s Programme category at the 2012 Royal Television Society’s Programme Awards.

We were really honored with the award and delighted by the judges citation for the film:

“Deceptively simple but with complex resonances, the jury described the winning programme as exceptionally rich, moving and powerful – a work of genius.”

We couldn’t have asked for a better start to spring!
