Annecy Festival – Another magnificent award for Room on the Broom!

We’re delighted to announce Room on the Broom has been awarded the Cristal award for best TV production at this year’s Annecy International Animation Film Festival.

Having previously taken home the prize for Best TV Special for The Gruffalo and The Gruffalo’s Child, Magic Light Pictures were honoured to win another award from this fantastic festival.

Originally set up in the 1950s as an animated programme of films during the Cannes Film Festival, it was moved to the French town of Annecy a few years later to allow it to grow. The festival quickly became synonymous with the highest quality animation and to this day continues to showcase the finest animated films around.
