New Room on the Broom Trail launched!
Our brand new Room on the Broom trail has just launched in Wakefield, at Angler’s Country Park.
With a grand opening on 6th March, World Book Day 2015, the trail features six chainsaw carvings of different characters from the much loved children’s picture book, by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. As you follow the trail, housed at this Green Flag site, you’ll meet Cat, Dog, Bird and Frog, and maybe even the terrifying Dragon!
There are different activities to keep you busy as you follow the trail, which takes about an hour and a half for little legs. The trail is also fully wheelchair and buggy-accessible.
