Room on the Broom at the Lyric Theatre

Get ready for some fast-paced family fun with Room on the Broom at London’s Lyric Theatre this winter.

From the creators of The Gruffalo, Room on the Broom is a tale of witchery, friendship and misfortune. A must see for children and adults!

The witch and her cat are flying along on their broomstick when a gust of wind blows the witch’s hat, bow and wand away. A dog, bird and a frog rush to her rescue recovering the lost items and they climb aboard.

But soon disaster strikes again as the overloaded broomstick snaps in two. There’s more trouble brewing when a ferocious dragon arrives, looking for lunch. What will happen to the ill-fated witch?

Room on the Broom is adapted from the book by Children’s Laureate Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler.

Tall Stories children’s theatre company also performed The Gruffalo to great acclaim. The group now bring Room on the Broom to life through puppetry, music and song.
